Stain Removal???

So I am wondering what your tricks are to getting stains out. Do you have a favorite product? I have been dealing with Popsicle stains, chocolate milk stains, and makeup stains (thanks go to Alexa for those), and grass stains. If you have any ideas let me know, I need all the help I can get. And if any of you want to send a maid my way, I'll love you forever!!

back in the day when I had a job in a clothing store we always used Zout to get out makeup stain... since then that is what I use for everything. Works pretty good. I spray it right on the stain rub it together and then then run it under water while rubbing it out. It seems to do the trick.

Dawn dish soap works really good too. Especially for greasy stains. Just rub it on the stain really good and then wash it like normal. I couldn't believe how well it worked!

Daring Young mom did a post about that a long time ago, and I found it. It has her favorites and lots of her readers favorites. One I've used since reading it us mechanic grease remover, the stuff they use on their hands, it works wonders especially on thing that has gotten grease on them that I thought was ruined. Go check it out. http://www.daringyoungmom.com/2006/03/28/tip-tuesday-dirty-laundry/

So I left a comment a while ago, but it apparently didn't work. Our first summer selling, Ryan left a magenta crayon in his shorts which then got washed and dried with his white swimming suit and white work shirts. I eventually re-washed the clothes in really hot water and that got most of it out. Then I used a Bleach pen to get the rest. He was pretty amazed when he came home from work because it worked so well.

Ok, Cori... I have a running list. I'll have to scan it in and e-mail it to ya... picked it up at a homemaking mtg. years ago.

So - love the new blog look! I've tried over and over to get my html codes to get the digi-paper along the sides like that, but can't get it right! Would you mind if I peeked at your codes?

Thanks for the link, Cori. I've actually been sent those instructions before, but I think this time the sizes are different, so that should help.

Anyway, you scratched my back - so here is your back scratch! I added a new label on my sidebar called "household tips" in which you will find TONS of ideas, including how to keep laundry REALLY CLEAN. Just click on the images and read all about it!
